Think Outside of Your Business To Grow

You have a product or service to offer and you are on the move getting the word out about it with you website, social media; and for brick-and-mortars…locally through print ads, brochures and so on.

Your working in your business silo and boy do you know about YOUR business. You may even be able to whip out your elevator speech at a moments notice.

While that’s all good and you need to do all of that stuff. It’s time for you to think outside of your business.

What does it mean to “think outside of your business?”

Thinking outside of your business requires brainstorming about all of the other companies, organizations, causes, websites etc… that┬ámay align with what you do and for you to think about how a partnership or affiliation might work with them. How can you complement each other?

Some partnerships will be glaringly obvious. Others may take time to stumble upon but either way, you can open yourself up to new customers or a targeted segment.

So take some time to give this some serious thought because new partnerships can infuse your business with new energy and new revenue and can be a win-win for all involved.
