Results Driven Digital Marketing, Design & Social Media

Tools & Resources

Curley Marketing tools & resources that I use to make my life easier are listed below. Check them out to see if they have a place in your business too.

Email Marketing

Mailchimp – I have been using Mailchimp for many years now for all of my email marketing. They have flexible and easy design tools and templates that work with any type of messaging. Great reporting and analytics. Responsive design, blog and social integration, the ability to create unique lists and so much more.

Constant Contact – Another great email marketing tool. Lots of the similar features to Mailchimp so check-out both and see which one you feel most comfortable using.

Social Media Management

Buffer – I LOVE Buffer. It is so easy to use and it will make posting on Facebook, LinkedIn, Google+ and Twitter a breeze. Organize and plan all of your posts in one place, decide what time they will launch, check analytics and more. This tool is a no-brainer.

Hootsuite – This is an awesome social media management tool as well. It’s probably a bit more popular than Buffer and maybe even more meatier than Buffer. It’s a matter of personal preference really.

Creating Graphics

Canva – No graphic design experience required here! Seriously fun and creative graphics can be made with this VERY easy-to-use tool. Thousands of images, shapes and illustrations to choose from or upload your own and create all types of graphics for online or offline use.

PicMonkey – Another fun graphic design tool but with slightly less exciting features than Canva. If you want some super basic graphics and photo editing done this may be your tool. Especially if you know nothing about Photoshop.

Adobe Photoshop – If you want to become a Jedi master in photo editing and design then learn Photoshop. It has been around for a VERY long time and serious designers won’t use anything else but if you have never used it there is a steep learning curve.

Adobe Illustrator – Create graphics from scratch, exactly how you want them. Illustrator has also been around for a million years and is the gold standard for graphic designers around the world. Again, steep learning curve but worth it if you want to create truly one-of-a-kind graphics.

FREE Photos

Unsplash.com – Get beautiful high-resolution photographs for FREE. You can use them personally or commercially with NO Fear of copywriting issues. You won’t always find exactly what you need but give it a shot. You never know.

I will consistently add new tools & resources as I find success with them either in my own business or in my clients’ businesses so check back here every so often. I will also feature one tool each TUESDAY on my Facebook page.
